Miami, FL – October 3, 2012 – Ariel Coro, the leading tech expert for Hispanics and author of the bestselling book, El Salto, has been invited to participate in the 29th edition of the internationally renowned Miami Book Fair International, to be ce
lebrated from November 11-18th, 2012. Coro’s participation will include joining a panel on Saturday, November 17th titled: Cómo sobrevivir a los nuevos desafíos del siglo XXI, discussing the challenges of the 21st century and how to leverage technology to survive. The panel will be held at 1:30 PM in salon 3209 of the Miami Dade Wolfson Campus located at 300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33132.
Throughout the years, the Miami Book Fair International, founded and hosted by Miami Dade College, has established itself as a place of prime importance in the United States for meeting the leading writers and publishers of contemporary Latin-American literature.
“Participating in this book fair is another way to continue communicating the message of El Salto to Hispanics – one that emphasizes how technology can represent a competitive advantage to Latinos in this country. This book was specifically written in Spanish to address the needs of recent and acculturated immigrants alike, and the necessity of integrating themselves into this new fast-paced society, while providing them many of the tools they need to succeed, ” commented Coro.
Coro will be a part of the Ibero-American Authors Program, which is unique in the country and has been one of the fastest growing components of the book fair. The program invites only about 70 authors to present their works in Spanish. This is the place where winners of major literary prizes, award-winning poets and emerging authors have had the opportunity to present their works for the first time. As a multicultural city, Miami is the perfect place to present literary breakthroughs from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.
Coro’s participation will conclude with a book signing after the panel where he will also personally address many of the questions from the audience.
During Street Fair weekend, more than 250 publishers and booksellers will exhibit and sell books, with special features like the antiquarians, who will showcase signed first editions, original manuscripts and other collectibles.
