Ariel Coro, the most influential tech expert for the Latino community started a partnership with Univision for a new tech segment that will air weekly on its affiliate network.

Univision is the largest Spanish language TV and radio broadcasting network, comprised of 23 owned and operated stations and nearly 45 affiliates.

The new segments titled Mundo Tec are a fresh new take on the former Tu Tecnología segments developed by Coro in 2008 that have aired in the Univision Affiliates throughout the years.

“I’m very excited about this new project,” said Coro. “The impact of technology in the daily lives of Latino families is quantifiable, tangible and in doubtable and I consider it a privilege to continue to educate our community about the latest tech innovations, relevant news and how they can leverage those tools to provide a better live for themselves and their families.”

The segments will be produced by Tu Tecnología and hosted by Ariel Coro and will air weekly in top Hispanic DMAs such as Miami, San Francisco, Phoenix, LA and New York.

The segment will cover the latest in tech news, gadgets, apps, mobile and auto tech as well as feature coverage from the many tech and automotive shows that Coro visits throughout the year. Coro will be showing Univision viewers an inside peek from top shows such as the Consumer Electronics Show, the North American International Auto Show, the World Pet Expo, E3 the gaming show, New York Auto Show and more.

So keep an eye out for Mundo Tec in a local Univision Affiliate newscast near you.
